Ejup Dullnija

Prof. Ass. Dr. Ejup Dullinja was born on April 13, 1986, in Prizren, Kosovo, where he completed his primary and secondary education. He pursued his undergraduate studies in architecture at the University of Prizren (2005–2008), and continued his postgraduate studies in Turkey. In 2012, he completed his master’s degree at the Faculty of Architecture at Trakya University in Edirne, with a thesis focusing on the “Ecological Analysis of Traditional Houses within the Walls of Edirne Fortress.” At the same institution, in 2018, he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation titled: “A Proposed Model for the Ecological Assessment of Traditional Albanian Houses in Berat and Gjirokastër,” earning a Doctor of Science degree in Architecture.

His professional career began in Kosovo, where he engaged in various architectural projects. He deepened his practical experience during his stay in Turkey, contributing to several architectural offices and studios, and participating in residential projects. One of his most significant engagements during this period was working for the company Limak İnşaat San. ve Tic. A.Ş., where he took part in the implementation of the Pristina International Airport project (2012–2013). From 2013 to 2015, he worked as a Demonstrator Assistant at the Faculty of Architecture at Trakya University, assisting with lectures and guiding students in their academic projects.

In 2016–2017, he was engaged as a lecturer at UACS – the American University of Skopje, where he taught in the fields of design. Since 2015, he has collaborated as a contracted lecturer at Vizyon University in Gostivar, and since 2018 he has been part of the regular academic staff at AAB College in Pristina.

Prof. Dullinja is an academic with broad and diverse experience in teaching and architectural practice, with important contributions to educational institutions in Kosovo, Turkey, and North Macedonia. He has lectured at renowned universities such as Trakya University (Edirne), UACS (Skopje), Vizyon University (Gostivar), and he is currently fully employed at AAB College.

Academically, he has made significant contributions to curriculum development and has taught subjects such as Architectural Design, Sustainable Planning, Traditional Architecture, and Ecological Architecture. His scientific works have been presented at international conferences and published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, addressing topics such as traditional Albanian architecture, the impact of physical factors on urban development, and the ecological analysis of historical buildings. He has also supervised students in research and master’s theses, providing professional mentorship in areas linking theory, practice, and contemporary approaches to architectural design.

Scientific Works and Conferences – He has participated in several international scientific conferences and published papers in academic journals, including some indexed in SCOPUS and Google Scholar.
