Professor Atdhe Buja, part of the research project of the International Science Complex "Astana"

The professor of the Faculty of Computer Sciences Atdhe Buja has managed to become part of the research project of the International Science Complex “Astana”.

The objective of the research project is to analyze the current state of research in approaches, methods, techniques, models and algorithms for identifying attacks and assessing the security of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN).

Professor Buja, in the role of researcher, has managed to carry out simulations of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) nodes in these cases: with normal operating nodes, with malicious nodes infecting the IoT sensor network, and with nodes that apply algorithms and codes prepared by him for the detection and identification of attacks from infecting nodes.

The scientific work of Professor Buja and the rest of the team has shown concrete results of the simulations and the work will have a special contribution to the scientific community.

In addition, Buja is continuing scientific research in other projects, contributing to the field of cyber security for IIoT industrial sensors, and IoT, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN); designs Machine Learning models through Python coding to predict cyberattacks for IoT sensors and networks.
