Roberta Bajrami

Prof. Ass. Dr. Roberta Bajrami was born on July 4, 1990, in Mitrovica. She completed her secondary education at “Kuvendi i Arbërit” Gymnasium in Ferizaj, in the Scientific Track (Mathematics and ICT). In 2012, she completed her undergraduate studies at AAB College in “Management and Informatics,” and in 2014, she successfully earned her Master of Arts (MA) degree in “Marketing and Business Management” at the same institution (https://aab-edu.net/). Later, in 2020, she completed her doctoral studies at South East European University, obtaining the title Doctor of Economic Sciences.

From 2014 to 2017, Roberta Bajrami served as Project Manager for Pre-University Education in the Municipality of Shtime, where she led various initiatives aimed at improving the quality of education at the local level. During this time, she was responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of developmental projects in primary and lower secondary schools, working closely with school leaders, teachers, parents, and local and international partner organizations (https://shtime.rks-gov.net/).

Her professional career is closely tied to academic and institutional development at AAB College. Initially, she was engaged as a teaching assistant and later as a full-time lecturer, delivering courses in economics, statistics, and research methodology. Since 2012, Prof. Bajrami has been a full-time academic staff member at the Faculty of Economics, AAB College. From 2020 to 2024, she held several leadership roles within the faculty, including Vice Dean, Quality Assurance Coordinator, and Coordinator of Student Activities and Professional Practice. In these roles, she worked closely with the Dean and senior management to organize and coordinate academic activities, manage staff, enhance institutional standards, and engage students in research and professional activities (https://aab-edu.net/).

Prof. Bajrami is the author of several scientific papers published in prestigious international journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science, with high impact in the academic community. Her research interests focus primarily on economics and finance, with specific themes including the impact of money supply on economic growth, international trade and economic freedom, financial performance of SMEs, and the economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Prof. Bajrami is co-author of the book “Introduction to Applied Mathematics in Economics and Social Sciences” (2022), which serves as core literature for students in economics and social sciences. She has successfully supervised a significant number of master’s students, contributing to the development of the next generation of academic researchers.

Beyond teaching and mentoring, she remains active in research projects focused on sustainable economics, public finance, and higher education development. She possesses advanced knowledge in statistical analysis, econometric modeling, and big data analytics, utilizing tools such as SPSS, STATA, R, and Python. Additionally, she has strong competencies in academic management, public speaking, and collaboration with the private sector on practical and scientific projects.

In 2025, Prof. Bajrami became a member of EASE – European Association of Science Editors. She participated in the 18th General Conference of EASE, which addressed the challenges of scientific editing in the age of misinformation, emphasizing transparency, credibility, and integrity in scientific publishing. She also attended professional workshops such as “How to Be a Successful Journal Editor” (EASE) and “Introduction to Publication Ethics” (COPE), strengthening her expertise in editorial leadership and publication ethics.

She lives and works in Pristina, continuing to contribute to the advancement of higher education and scientific research both nationally and internationally. She is married and a mother of two children.
