The Bradt guide to Kosovo has a useful section on this; see also Annex 3. If in doubt ask the Office Manager. The following private clinics work around the clock and offer a wide range (including emergency cases but also other treatment) of very good services at affordable prices. Two of them are situated on the “Bill Clinton Blvd” (five minutes from city Centre) and EUROMED is in Fushe Kosove (4 km).

There are many pharmacies in all parts of Pristina and they often speak some to good English. No prescriptions required so you can get the equivalent of UK-prescribed drugs. Opening hours for pharmacies are 9-22 hrs, with several working around the clock (near the central hospital). See also Bradt guide.
You can buy the Bradt or other guide books, maps and Pristina in Your Pocket in Dukagjini book shops on Mother Theresa in the centre of town. An English Language paper called Pristina Insight is available at street vendors in the centre for 1 Euro. Pristina in Your Pocket is also on-line (http://www.inyourpocket.com/kosovo/pristina ).
