The mission of the Faculty of Computer Science is to prepare students for a globalized society of technology and information through student centered approaches, advanced theoretical and practical teaching and scientific research in the essential areas of information technology. The Faculty enables students to respond to the evolving challenges of technology, offering creative solutions to the labor market and society at large in the digital age through research, industry collaboration, and community engagement.

The Faculty of Computer Science combines theoretical and practical learning, enabling students to acquire the main theoretical foundations, develop practical skills, and apply competencies to solve complex problems. In addition, the Faculty aims to develop the students’ personalities by engaging them in various discussions on social and ethical issues, as well as social responsibility. FCS promotes students’ participation and engagement in improving the learning process, thus contributing to building their leadership skills, cooperation, and responsibilities towards others.

The Faculty of Computer Sciences aims to ensure that graduate students are competitive in the local and global labour markets as individuals or as integral parts of organizations. The Faculty supports the innovative ideas of students, the realization of technological products, the design of projects and the conduct of research, and the realization of study visits and practical work in industry, thus ensuring students’ progress throughout their studies and successful employment in industry.
