Prof. Ass. Dr. Gëzim Jusufi ka lindur më 28 dhjetor 1984 në Gjilan. Arsimin fillor (1992-2000) e ka përfunduar në shkollën “Musa Zajmi”, ndërsa arsimin e mesëm (2000-2004) në Gjimnazin “Zenel Hajdini” drejtimi Matematiko-Natyror në Gjilan.
Në vitin 2004 fitoi bursën TCS nga Ministria e Arsimit Nacional (https://www.meb.gov.tr/en/) e Republikës së Turqisë për të studiuar në këtë vend. Fillimisht filloi studimet përgaditore në TÖMER – The Turkish Language and Foreign Language Application and Research Center (https://tomer.ankara.edu.tr/hakkimizda/) në qytetin e Izmirit. Pastaj në Tetor të vitit 2005 filloi studimet bachelor në Fakultetin e Shkencave Ekonomike dhe Administrative në programin Menaxhim Biznesi në Universitetin Trakya (https://iibf.trakya.edu.tr/) në qytetin e Edirnes. Studimet katërvjeqare i mbaroi në vitin 2009 duke fituar titullin “Ekonomist i diplomuar”, i njohur dhe nostrifikuar nga MASHT.
Në Tetor të vitit 2009 filloi studimet postdiplomike master në Fakultetin Ekonomik të Universitetit të Prishtinës, dhe në Shtator të vitit 2011 i përfundoi ato, duke fituar titullin Master i Shkencave Ekonomike në Marketing (MSc.). Ndërsa, studimet e doktoraturës i ka përfunduar në vitin 2019 poashtu në Universitetin e Prishtinës, ku ka fituar titullin Doktor i Shkencave Ekonomike në fushën e Ekonomiksit (Dr. Sc.) nën udhëheqjen (mentorimin) e prof.dr.Gazmend Qorraj (Jean Monnet Chair i Integrimeve Evropiane) me temën e doktoraturës “Ndikimi i Marrëveshjes së Stabilizim-Asociimit në aktivitetin biznesor në Kosovë”.
Rrugëtimin profesional Prof. Ass. Dr. Gëzim Jusufi e filloi në Korrik të vitit 2009, në Agjencionin e Shërbimeve “AKTIVA” në Gjilan ku punoi në kryerjen e punëve lidhur me kontabilitetin financiar dhe material. Në Dhjetor të vitit 2010 u punësua në Ipko Telecommunications LLC në Gjilan, ku kreu punë dhe detyra të ndryshme në raport me klientët e kompanisë dhe promovoi produktet e IPKO-s. Po ashtu ai punoi edhe si përkthyes nga Gjuha Turke në Gjuhën Shqipe dhe anasjelltas për firmën turke Yilmaz Ticaret SHPK në Gjilan. Më 10 maj 2012 u punësua si mësimdhënës i lëndëve ekonomike në Shkollën e Mesme të Lartë “Marin Barleti” në Gjilan, duke ligjëruar lëndë profesionale si Komunikim biznesi, Financa, Menaxhim i projekteve, Ndërmarrësi, Statistikë, Marketing i avancuar, Planifikim i shitjes. Kurse nga Nëntori i vitit 2012 e deri në dhjetor të vitit 2024, Prof. Ass. Dr. Gëzim Jusufi ka punuar edhe si ekspert financiar në Gjykaten themelore të Gjilanit dhe në degët e saj në Kamenicë dhe Viti.
Rrugëtimi akademik i Prof. Ass. Dr. Gëzim Jusufit si mësimdhënës në fushën e arsimit të lartë filloi në vitin 2012, kur u punësua si asistent mësimor në Fakultetin Ekonomik të Universitetit “Hasan Prishtina” të Prishtinës, qendra në Gjilan. Ai kontribuoi në zhvillimin e procesit mësimor duke udhëhequr ushtrime praktike dhe duke asistuar në ligjërata për disa lëndë të rëndësishme si: Menaxhmenti Strategjik, Menaxhimi i Projekteve, dhe Menaxhimi i Resurseve Humane.
Me themelimin e Universitetit “Kadri Zeka”, në vitin 2015 ai kaloi si asistent mësimor në Fakultetin Ekonomik të këtij universiteti, duke mbajtur ushtrime e ligjërata në lëndët Vendosja në Biznes, Menaxhimi i Projekteve, Menaxhimi i Inovacioneve, Sjellje Organizative dhe Etika në Biznes. Kurse në vitin 2021 kaloi në Fakultetin Juridik të këtij universiteti, për të mbajtur ligjërata e ushtrime në nivelin bachelor dhe master në lëndët si Ekonomia, Integrimet Ekonomike Evropiane, Politika ekonomike, Projekt hulumtues, Institucionet Financiare Ndërkombëtare, Konsumi dhe e drejta konsumatore, Ekonomia ndërkombëtare, dhe E drejta mbi tregun publik. Në këtë fakultet të këtij universiteti punoi deri në dhjetor të vitit 2025.
Në vitin 2022, ai iu bashkua Kolegjit AAB në Prishtinë, një institucion i njohur i arsimit të lartë në Kosovë. Në këtë institucion, përveç angazhimit të tij si ligjërues, ai fitoi edhe titullin akademik Profesor Asistent (Prof. Ass. Dr.), duke u afirmuar si një profesionist dhe studiues me potencial në fushën e menaxhmentit. Në vitin akademik 2022/2023 në nivelin bachelor, ai ligjëroi lëndët Matematika për Ekonomi dhe Biznes, dhe Trendet e Globalizimit. Pas një shkëputjeje të shkurtër, ai prapë inkuadrohet në Kolegjin AAB dhe me 1 Mars 2026 fillon punën si staf i rregullt në Kolegjin AAB duke ligjëruar lëndën Komunikim Biznesi dhe Shkrim Akademik me studentët e të gjitha drejtimeve ekonomike.
Në kuadër të zhvillimit të tij të vazhdueshëm profesional, Prof. Ass. Dr. Gëzim Jusufi bartë një bagazh të pasur shkencor, të cilin e pasuron dhe e thellon çdo ditë përmes angazhimeve aktive në kërkime shkencore. Ai ka publikuar një numër të konsiderueshëm punimesh në revista ndërkombëtare prestigjioze, të botuara nga shtëpi botuese me renome globale si Elsevier, Emerald, Sage etj. Aktiviteti i tij kërkimor nuk kufizohet vetëm në publikime, por shtrihet edhe në pjesëmarrje të rregullta në konferenca shkencore ndërkombëtare dhe kombëtare, si dhe në workshope shkencore me karakter aplikativ dhe teorik, ku ka ndarë rezultatet e studimeve të tij dhe ka bashkëpunuar me studiues nga vende të ndryshme si nga Turqia, Sllovenia, Kroacia, etj. Kontributi i Prof. Ass. Dr. Gëzim Jusufi në shkencë është i dokumentuar me një numër publikimesh në revista të indeksuara në databaza të njohura dhe kredibile shkencore, siç janë Scopus dhe Web of Science, duke dëshmuar vlerën dhe cilësinë e lartë të punimeve të tij kërkimore.

Prof. Ass. Aktualisht profesor Gëzimi është i angazhuar në Projektin ne projektin TBEAI te financuar nga programi Erasmus+, si staf implementues. Gjuha amtare e Prof. Ass. Dr. Gëzim Jusufit është gjuha shqipe. Përveç gjuhës amtare, ai zotëron shumë mirë edhe gjuhën turke dhe angleze si dhe ka njohuri bazike të gjuhës gjermane. Ai ka zhvilluar aftësi të avancuara në përdorimin e programeve kompjuterike si Microsoft Office, SPSS, STATA, QuickBooks, etj. Është i pajisur me patentë shofer. Ai është i martuar dhe është baba i një vjaze. Aktualisht jeton në Gjilan, rruga ”Isa Kastrati, no.30.
